What is EndNote
EndNote is an excellent resource that helps users quickly collect and organize references from online sources (or elsewhere), create a searchable personal database, find and cite these references while writing, and create bibliographies formatted in their style of choice. You can output results in over 1,000 different bibliographic styles. Use built in manuscripts templates to correctly format and more.
There are two versions of Endnote -- a standalone program available for both Windows and Mac computers, and EndNote Web, a cloud-based version. If you want to use both, they can be synced so that you have the same references in both places.
EndNote and EndNote Web are available free to Rowan students, researchers, faculty and staff. Users will need to authenticate their Rowan affiliation using their Rowan Network ID and password before downloading EndNote to their computer or laptop. Users can create an EndNote Web account using their Rowan University email address.
