EndNote is an excellent resource that helps users quickly collect and organize references from online sources (or elsewhere), create a searchable personal database, find and cite these references while writing, and create bibliographies formatted in their style of choice. You can output results in over 1,000 different bibliographic styles. Use built in manuscripts templates to correctly format and more.
Rowan University users have access to multiple versions of EndNote:
EndNote Online is designed to work in concert with the desktop/laptop version of EndNote. References can easily be transferred and synched between the two versions. but each can also be used independently of the other. Both have similar capabilities, but the desktop/laptop version of EndNote has features not available in EndNote Online, is faster, and is easier to import references from more databases than the cloud based version. However, one advantage EndNote Online has over the desktop/laptop version is the ability to share your references with other EndNote Online users.
Note that the iPad version of EndNote is not part of Rowan University Libraries' EndNote subscription, and must be purchased separately.
