Campbell Library, the main library for the Glassboro campus, is located directly across the street from the visitor parking lot.

Alumni and Retirees

Alumni, retirees, and emeriti are permitted to borrow books and other circulating library materials using a Rowan University alumni card. 

K-12 Students

Groups of students, grades k-12, are invited to schedule supervised visits through the Director of Public Services, Deborah Gaspar. Elementary and middle school students must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.

General Public Access

During the spring and fall academic semesters, Campbell Library is open to the general public Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. and on Friday, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Campbell Library is closed to the general public on Saturday and Sunday. Visitors are welcome weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm during the summer.

Borrowing privileges and interlibrary loan services are not available to the general public. However, guests may use materials in the building during open hours.

Subscription-based, online resources are not accessible from off-site. Guests may visit the second floor Reference Desk to be logged onto a computer for onsite computer and database use. Printing services are not available to guests.

Internet Access for Visitors

Visitors to all Rowan University campuses will be able to get basic Internet access on their laptops and other mobile devices through a self-service registration page.

Visitors can simply connect to the Rowan_Visitor_Wireless network, fill out the registration form and receive a text message with a temporary username and password valid for 24 hours.

College students and faculty from other universities

Students and faculty visiting Rowan University from other universities may be able to borrow materials through reciprocal borrowing services. Contact the Access Services department at (856) 256-4802 for details or visit the Partner Libraries page on the library website.
