Using this Guide

This course will cover topics relevant to the doctor-patient encounter in an ambulatory care setting.   You will learn about and practice techniques used to take a history, take vital signs, and perform a traditional physical exam.  During the course you will also learn about which skills make for a better doctor and a better clinical encounter with your patient.

Here are a few important resources to get you started - see the tabs within this resource guide for readings and multimedia programs to supplement your learning experience.  On the side bar you will see links to more in-depth resource guides for a number of these topics.  I hope you find them helpful.
