Using identifiers to to organize your work will help you to:

  • Keep all of your publications together 
  • Get statistics
  • Clear up ambiguity over name changes or the various ways your name is published
  • Become more discoverable to colleagues and researchers

If you start with ORCiD you can easily exchange your profile and other information with ResearcherID.
