- Purchase used copies from Better World Books, thriftbooks, AbeBooks, or BooksRun
- Use BookFinder to compare textbook prices online
- Ask your professor if they have a copy that can be placed on reserve (this will place one copy of the book in the library that can be checked out for 4 hours to read in the library)
- Check your local public library to see if they have an available copy
- Request a copy through interlibrary loan services
- Search collections of free and available eBooks on Digital Research Books, HathiTrust, or Internet Archive
- Ask a friend who may have a copy
