Guide to library research for Graphic Design

Introduction

What is Library Search?

Library Search is the new main search function on the Rowan University Libraries web page. Use Library Search to simultaneously search for items in the Libraries' physical collections and online. See Searching Basics for more information on what is included in Library Search.

How do I use Library Search?

The Library Search box appears at the top of the library home page. You can type in search terms directly and click the magnifying glass to search, which will take you to the full Library Search screen. Explore the options on the left side of this page for more detailed information about Library Search's functions.

Where is the library catalog?

There is no longer a separate Library Catalog search for books and similar materials. You can now find these items through Library Search, by selecting "Books" or another appropriate option under Resource Type after you search.

What if I need help?

Ask a librarian for help anytime using the Ask A Librarian page, or when the "Chat is Online" message is displayed in the upper right of the library home page, you can chat with a librarian directly. Email and text message questions will be responded to within 24 hours. If you don't get a response right away, please browse our extensive list of Frequently Asked Questions.
