Tagging/Request Purchase
When adding a citation or editing one, you can click "Add Tag" to designate a citation as "Required", "Recommended", or "Request Purchase". The Required and Recommended tags are purely informational, telling students what is required reading or just recommended reading.
However, adding the Request Purchase tag will create a request for a book to be purchased for a course. The request will be processed by library staff once you publish your list, and you will be notified if the book is purchased.
To find books to request for purchase, change your search scope to "Purchase Request" when searching the library in the reading list. Now, you'll see things the library does not own or subscribe to.
