Citation Justice in STEM

Resources to find help find marginalized authors in STEM.

Welcome

This is a guide focused on addressing social inequity and improving representation of historically marginalized groups in STEM fields. Citation justice aims to right institutional inequalities. Citation justice involves seeking citations from scholars who have historically marginalized identities. This is a conscious effort and there is no gold standard for locating these citations. This guide will highlight several resources to help with citation justice.

This guide builds upon the work by Sarah Weiss, STEM and Open Science Librarian at the University of Maryland, College Park.
