Journal articles, book chapters, or conference papers must be designated as open access (freely available to view worldwide) in order to be deposited in Rowan Digital Works as Faculty Scholarship. In most cases this means they have an Open Access statement and a Creative Commons license. For more information see our Open Access Fact Sheet.
We need to review all publications to make sure they meet our guidelines for inclusion in the repository. If you would like to deposit a publication in RDW, please contact us at rdw@rowan.edu.
It depends on what the journal allows, which is usually specified in their agreement with the author. If you don't have a copy of the agreement, identify the publisher, then consult their website or the SHERPA/ROMEO website listed below to determine the publisher's policies.
If it would not violate copyright to post the reprint on your repository site, you're welcome to send it to us.
We will consider the accepted manuscript or pre-print version of a publication for deposit in the repository if the publisher allows it. Send us a PDF copy of your publication as you submitted it, without publisher branding or final editing. For more information please see our Scholarly Communication Guide.
Rowan Digital Works includes content from a growing number of faculty and student research conferences and symposia.
If you would like to include your poster or presentation in RDW, please contact us at rdw@rowan.edu.
