Books usually provide more extensive information on a topic. Scholarly books that are edited volumes generally consist of a collection of chapters by different authors, each of whom addresses a specific aspect of the book's broader focus. (Look for an "editor" in the book's description.)

To find books use Rowan's Library Search and limit the material type to Books. You can do this either from the Advanced Search page (use the Material Type drop-down menu on the right) or from a search results page (use the Resource Type limiter).
