This is a participant-led learning community where students, faculty, and staff will meet and learn together. Learners of all levels and backgrounds are welcomed to share experiences, questions, and ideas. Primarily, this is a space for discussion. Some sessions will include brief presentations which may be recorded.
We will meet on Tuesdays from noon to 1 pm, September 2 to December 15, 2025 in Bunce Hall, Rm 252.
Join on the Tuesdays that work for you. We will email you occasionally with resources and questions.
We can include up to 20 people in-person, and we will send you a stable zoom link. Feel free to bring your lunch along. You do not have to register for individual sessions - just stop by on zoom in when it works for you. Our goals include:
- Connect with others around Rowan who are curious about GenAI
- Become familiar with key concepts and terminology related to artificial intelligence
- Explore GenAI tools, share experiences, and learn how to evaluate the results
- Explore emergent applications of AI technology
- Develop an understanding of the opportunities and drawbacks
We shape this community together! Our hope is that all participants will discuss and contribute their own ideas and share in the stewardship of this respectful, inclusive, and generative space.
