Daniel Chard is a long time resident of South Jersey, his family living in Ferrell – just south of Glassboro – 175 years ago. A teacher of painting and drawing in the Rowan Art Department for 45 years, he is now retired from Rowan, living in rural Pilesgrove Township. Chard is a landscape painter with nine solo exhibitions at the O.K Harris Gallery (NYC). He continues his painting with both wet media and digital media (see danielchard.com). One of his recent projects is managing a print collection from the estate of Master Printmaker Norman Lassiter, some of the work being shown at the David Richard Gallery in Sante Fe (see normanlassiterprints.com).
